Reset loose fret ends without restringing! Simply fit end of this handy tool over the crown of a fret, and tap with a hammer.
This is a simple little tool that can make your fret reseating jobs a lot quicker and easier. The end of the tool is machined to fit over the crown of the fret, and you simply tap the tool with a hammer. Its narrow contact surface makes short work of reseating loose fret ends, and you can use it even when the strings are still on the instrument. Hold it by hand for supergluing a loose fret end: it makes a great spot caul for pressing the fret down while the glue sets. The machined brass Fret Setter wide sku: 1662 is 5″ long with a 3/8″ fret contact surface, and works well for wide fretwire. Setters are available for wide, medium, and narrow fretwires.
The Fret Setter narrow (SKU: 1632) works for Stew Mac’s # 0764 Narrow/Low fretwire which is used for modern standard mandolin, ukulele, and old-style small banjo fretwire.

The easiest way to clean noisy control pots, without extracting them from a guitar, amp, or stomp-box!
Works for rotary switches and Gibson Varitone switches, too. The cap directs your cleaner right where it’s needed, inside the pot housing on the contacts around the shaft. No mess!
Simply remove the control knob, and screw the Pot Cleaning Cap on the shaft. Note: Provided is a black rubber O-ring, with the option to use between the cap and nut when there is ample space. An access hole guides your spray cleaner extension tube directly to the pot shaft. The cleaner flows down the shaft to where it’s needed on the contacts inside the pot. A hole in the top of the cap lets you turn a split pot shaft with a screwdriver for thorough coverage.
Works with 3/8 x 32-thread, made in USA potentiometers: CTS, Allen-Bradley, Bourns, CentraLab, Clarostat, and others. It’s not compatible with imported or metric-thread control pots (like Alpha).
Pot Cleaning Cap is made from precision machined stainless steel.
TIP: Aerosol contact cleaners can spray cold, and can potentially crack a guitar’s finish. Always protect the finish with a cloth when cleaning pots and switches.
